Kicking off the lineup of 2022, Laco presents two new pilot’s watches in a trendy military style. Each limited to 200 pieces, the Augsburg Oliv 39 and Aachen Oliv 39, both are named after two German cities offer the distinct look and feel of the famous historic observation watches.

Their matte olive-green dials – one displaying a H-M-S design, the other indicating the minutes on the outer and the hours on the inner scale – feature old Radium Super-LumiNova coated hands and indices that omit an intense green lume in the dark. The 39-mm stainless steel cases are coated with a bronze-coloured PVD treatment, which highlights the desired “used look” charisma.

Powering the “Augsburg Oliv 39” and “Aachen Oliv 39” is Laco’s caliber 21, based on the tried-and-tested Miyota 8215 that sports a stop-seconds function for setting the time precisely to the second. The German brand also offers an upgrade to Laco’s caliber 31, which amasses an increased power reserve of over 60 hours and boasts blued screws. Both are priced at $580.
