Omega has kicked off the line-up of 2022 with a superlative diver’s watch, the Seamaster Planet Ultra Deep which lives up to its name with a water-resistance up to ground-breaking 6,000 meters. However, president and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann promised: “We have many watches to show you, in a striking range of colors and materials, each with their own story to tell.”

One of colorful additions this year is a new generation of the Seamaster Diver 300M, not only a favorite of James Bond but also sought-after by professional divers, thanks to its superior technical features including a helium escape valve. The latest Seamaster Diver 300M is equipped with a bold green dial and bezel. The latter is crafted from ceramic and features a Grand-Feu enamel diving scale. This technique is known for its radiance and longevity. The dial is likewise made from polished green ceramic and showcases the typical wavy pattern that is engraved by laser technology. It serves as a refined backdrop for the rhodium-plated hour-markers filled with white Super-LumiNova that emits a bluish hue in the dark.

The stainless-steel case has a diameter of 42mm and a height of 13.5mm. It houses the automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and amasses a power reserve of 55 hours. Its rhodium plated finish and characteristic Geneva Waves in arabesque can be admired through the exhibition case back. The Seamaster Diver 300M is offered on a rubber strap for $5,100 and on a bracelet for $5,400.
