Raymond Weil, a Swiss watch brand founded by a musician and in recent known for producing timepieces inspired by legendary musical acts, unveiling its first Maestro Beatles Limited Edition in 2016. Two other variations on that original watch have been released since, including an Abbey Road-themed edition in 2017. This year, Raymond Weil concludes the series with its fourth edition, fittingly named for the Beatles’ final album, 1970’s Let it Be.
The watch, officially named the Maestro Beatles Let it Be Limited Edition, frames in its 40-mm stainless steel case an anthracite dial with a cutout resembling a topographical silhouette of the United Kingdom. The rose-gold plated hands are centered on where the city of Liverpool, the birthplace of the Beatles legend, would appear on the U.K. map. The baton hour indexes are also rose-gold-plated; four of them appear in a group at the 4 o’clock position, one for each member of the “Fab Four.” The official Beatles logo appears at the 9 o’clock position, parallel to the Raymond Weil logo at 3 o’clock.
The smoked sapphire crystal caseback is also emblazoned with the official logo as well as a Limited Edition number (out of 3,000 total pieces). Behind it beats the self-winding, skeletonized movement, which holds a power reserve of 38 hours and can also be glimpsed through the cutout on the dial. The light brown strap is made of polyurethane material with FSC-certified vegan leather, equipped with an “RW”-branded steel folding clasp with a double-push security system.
The Raymond Weil Maestro The Beatles Let it Be Limited Edition is available now for $1,995.
