I could not have a watch review website without showcasing a Rolex Watch. So here it is… I chose this Rolex because when I looked at it the first time, I thought to myself, damn I want that watch, and not just showcasing a Rolex only because it’s a Rolex .
That said, after carefully taking a look at different Rolex models and styles, I decided on the GMT Master II Luxury Watch.
The Rolex GMT II comes in stainless steel, gold and platinum. Has a corrosion-resistant ceramic bezel. The crown screws down like a nautical hatch, incorporating independent gaskets to seal out water and other materials. It’s designed to be waterproof in pressures of up to 500 bars (half a ton per sq centimeter). It’s definitely a tough watch. http://www.rolex.com/en/collection/extraordinary-watches/gmt-master/index.jsp
How are you suppose to tell time in a watch that looks like this is beyond me!
As with all TokyoFlash watches, the “Barcode IP Black” pays tribute to Japanese ingenuity with a unique design and very different way to display time. The first line of LED lights tells the hour and the second set of LED lights tell the minutes. Interesting… I wonder what is the learning curve to tell time on this wristwatch. It definitely looks good.
This is a limited edition, and as per TokyoFlash’s website they are all sold out!
Functions: 12/24 hr Display, AM/PM Indicator Light, Light Up Function, Day & Date.
It comes with a polished steel bezel, blue, black, silver, grey dials and luminescent hands and hour markers to see at night and is 200M Water Resistant. The bracelet is made of steel and has a double safety clasp with a buckle. This TAG goes for about 2.5k to 3k. It’s definitely a beauty.
Casio watches have come a long way. They’re no longer the simple durable watch they are known for. Today’s Casio watches come with what they call “Triple Sensor Technology”. Particularly, Casio Protrek’s come packed with features that normal watches just don’t come with. Features like a digital compass, a digital thermometer, altimeter, barometer and even water pressure etc… The Prg40t-7c comes in titanium. I personally own this watch and I love it. It’s a nice looking tool that tells time…
What the F***??? Weird watches and this one! …and at over 200k way too expensive for the average joe. Here are several pics from different angles of this very weird, mid-evil looking watch.
The Urwerk 201 stands on it’s own as a very different watch with a very modern/futuristic look!
The Urwerk 201 uses an interesting mechanism to tell time. It uses telescopic minute hands operating through the middle of three orbiting hour satellites. Each satellite has four hours 1/4/7/10, 2/5/8/11 and 3/6/9/12 rotating to give the appropriate time while pointing at the minutes.
A really interesting feature of this watch is that the time and date functions, inspired in car gauges are set in the back of the watch.
This is a limited edition watch and is sure to catch the attention of watch collectors.
It comes in a ceramic black face and ceramic strap, sapphire crystal, 3 dial chronograph, hour, minute, seconds, and date… oh, and its water resistant to 200 meters.
An interesting aspect in this Technomarine is that it has big 12, 4 & 8 numbers as oppose to the common 12, 3, 6, 9 numbers. It gives it a techno feel.
I love the face details. It looks sleek, elegant and sporty. Technomarine did an awesome job designing this wristwatch. I want one!
